Another hour's questing. Made some people happy. Cleared out the Tirkin camp. Then ventured to Colony 6 for a brief look inside - it's all quiet.
Why are there all these Heart to Heart spots if it won't even tell me how I can qualify for them?

Some of the heart-to-hearts can be accessed by making your party happy with each other. Sometimes just listening to someone's problem will produce a whole bunch of hearts, sometimes having them in combat with you will bring on the love.
ReplyDeleteIn any event, some will show you who needs to be better friends (with a small coloured sprite to help you get the gist of their happiness)
If you perform a heart to heart well, then there's even more love to be had. If you make quips, or stuff up a history question you as the gamer knew nothing about, the hearts WITHER AND DIE. It's best to save before ruining one of these.
Occasionally, changing your party around will give you new love between strong and weak characters. Even 2nd and 3rd position makes a difference. One will reply to strangers' problems or complete a chain.
Don't forget the skill links. Make sure you keep filling the shapes and using the affinity coins to share skills: stronger at night, more resistant to topple, 20% more EXP. It all comes in handy.

Sometimes you haven't found the right person for your party, so it won't show you who it needs to be until they're with you.
